As this almost exclusively concerns Dutch students, we decided not to translate this page. If you would like something explaining, please send us an email.
Parking key available for moving
For a few days now, the residents committee has an electronic key that can be used to open the boom barrier closing off the parking lot. We are authorized by DUWO to lend out this key for people that are moving, and that would – for that purpose – like to access the property with a car. Lending this key is free of charge. The key can be booked through this website and subsequently obtained through one of the members of the residents committee.
We kindly request you not to park your car/van/trailer in the (roofed) parking garage, to make sure these spots are available to people that actually pay for them. Loading and unloading, of course, is possible, but please make sure you don’t block any other parking spaces.
Unfortunately, DUWO does not allow us to lend the key to people that are simply wanting to provide parking space to visitors. As always, guests can park their cars (free of charge) parallel to the Julianalaan (the street to the south of the building), or at the parking lot of the Faculty of Architecture (at the Zuidplantsoen-road).
We’re live
After quite enough days and evenings of nerd-talk and text writing, the moment has finally come: the Michiel de Ruyterweg-building finally has its own website. On these pages, you’ll find information on a host of things, such as information on rent allowance and service announcements from DUWO. Additionally, you can make a reservation for the common beamer that’s available to all residents.
As of this moment, it is difficult to predict how often updates will be posted. If, however, you see room for improvement, please let us know.
